Gelobt Sei Gott
based on two settings by
Richard Proulx (1937 - 2010)
He is a widely published composer of more than three hundred works, including congregational music in every form, sacred and secular choral works, song cycles, two operas, as well as instrumental and organ music.
This custom organ was commissioned by a friend who wishes to remain anonymous, and who has made it available to me for use at my home. This "American Classic" organ is a combination of two Sonus Paradisi Organs: Aeolian-Skinner, Opus 1301, and Reuter, Opus 227, plus percussion voices from the Paramount Organ Works 450 Theatre Organ. It also includes some additional voices from the extension set of the Aeolian-Skinner by Jake of Custom Hauptwerk Organs, who also created this custom organ. You can contact Jake at: customhworgans[at]gmail[dot]com if you are interested in commissioning a custom organ for yourself.
