Praeludium et fuga in h (BWV 544): Fuga Uploaded by: Pietro Composer: Bach, J. S. Organ: 1761/2005 J. A. Silbermann-Metzler, Arlesheim, Switzerland Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 356
One of my favorite pieces, which I could also play well live 15 years ago. Now I had the intuition that, contrary to most recordings, the fugue sounds much nicer and more entertaining when it is performed in an airy and light manner, with a smirk on one's face, so to speak. Through the tempo of 98 BPM it has become light like a dance - the voices can still be distinguished very well through the articulation - so I like it that way -> what do you think?
