Another nice Voluntary, this time by composer John Bennett (1735-1784).
It starts with a beautiful lyric Adagio, followed by a lively Allegro.
Typically for Bennett: a lot of harmonic adventures, especially in the Adagio. Does remind me of his beautiful Adagio that I recorded some years ago (

I thought about performing this piece on the Engler instrument at Krzeszow, because of its beautiful baroque sound.
I didn't realize (at first) that the compass of the manuals would be a problem ... so I chose a registration for the right hand at 4 foot pitch, playing an octave lower, because I really need that high D.
Well, it sounds allright to me. Please let me know your opinion!
Enjoy!
