My curiosity for Craig A. Penfield's music increased after the upload of all his Madrigal Sonatas. I also wanted to explore his sacred organ music.
He composed a cycle of 10 pieces for the liturgical season from Lent until Easter. I worked all pieces and recorded them. But I didn't know how to upload them : separately or in their entirety ?
After reflection, although these pieces are intended for specific days of the liturgical calendar, the work above all appeared to me as a single large fresco whose scrolling should not be broken. in the same sens I can't interrupt the listenning to of a Bach's Passion or Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri.
I thank in advance those who will take the time to listen to the entire cycle.
I wanted to give both a very muted vision in the intimate pieces of the collection, but also very contrasting in the pieces requiring all the strength of the instrument

The choice of the organ was also clear to me. I assume that I don't like big american organs, so I decided to use one of my favorites modern and versatile sset : the perfect (imho) Nagold organ publishd by Pipeloops.
