Präludium und Fuge C-Dur

A new project that promises to be exciting. The Well-Tempered Organ. I plan to compose and record no less than 24 preludes plus fugues.
In addition - and now it's getting really interesting - I'm making an effort to ensure that the pieces can be performed by human hands. They are difficult in terms of fingering, but it should be doable.

The beginning is this prelude with a fugue in C major. It is in 3 voices and should be playable with the manual. In the fugue, the organ point may then be played with the pedal, so that both hands can play both voices well.

Since the composition with its voice leading is in the foreground, I have chosen as a sample set one of the smallest, namely IBA by Binauralpipes (Hello Dietrich, hehe).
It has a 16" quintade in the manual, which sounds from the 2nd part of the fugue and gives weight to the composition. Towards the end, the Mixtur is added and the organ sounds like a really "big" one .....

ou may have noticed that I upload very little. It is so that I am a hobby musician and still have to do in a permanent position in IT. Further, I have several programming projects, and there is little time left for music. Sad but true!
