Donovan D. Klotzbeacher (b. 1943) — Cornet (2007) for organ
Donovan D. Klotzbeacher (b. 1943) was born in Farmington, Minnesota and was educated at Westminster Choir College (with Mary Krimmel and George Markey), the University of Minnesota (with Heinrich Fleischer), and Rutgers University. He has performed throughout the Northeast as harpsichordist and appeared in a series of New Jersey Network broadcasts featuring period music in 18th century houses and taverns in the state. Klotzbeacher worked as a database developer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture while also being active as a church musician. He has been organist and choir director for First Presbyterian Church, Cranbury, New Jersey since 1974 and has also served as president of the Music Club of Princeton. As a composer, Klotzbeacher has written numerous choral and keyboard works.
