Felix Bräuer (b. 1988) — Fantasia super “Lumen ad revelationem gentium” (2024) for organ
German-Sorbian composer and organist Felix Bräuer (b. 1988) was born in Görlitz and was educated in Bautzen, Dresden, and Paderborn. He has served as a church musician in Bautzen and Dresden and has performed organ concerts throughout Germany. Bräuer has written numerous compositions in various genres including several oratorios and much organ and choral music. He describes his musical style as “characterized by a sense of the profoundly sacred and mystic, with direct symbolism and high emotionality for the aim of ‘thoughtful listening‘ [“betrachtende Hören”].”
