Jason D. Payne (b. 1980) is a native of Decatur, Georgia. His organ studies were with Ed Dunbar and Albert Travis. He has many years of experience as a church organist, having served First Baptist Church of Atlanta, First Baptist Church of Snellville, and Briarlake Baptist Church. He currently serves as organist for Smoke Rise Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. His numerous works for organ are published by Lorenz Publishing Co.
