We are at the end of the year and do not know what it will bring us,
we look forward to the new year in fascination and full of expectations
war-fear-suffering-destruction-lies-hate
but also
love-trust-closeness-happiness-security...
What do we let into our hearts, what will gain the upper hand?
One thing is certain:
God's infinite and inexhaustible love for us
it carries us, comforts us, gives us courage and takes away our fears
it gives us meaning, orientation, hope, support and confidence
And so we look forward to the new year, carried and comforted by good powers
