Interludes d'Orgue pour huit Psaumes de Communion - Psaume 22 (23)

Paule Piédelièvre (b. July 7, 1902 - d. March 11, 1964) was a pupil of Louis Vierne and organist of Notre-Dames-des-Champs and l'Eglise-des-Etrangers in Paris. She taught at the Schola Cantorum, and wrote several organ works, among them a set of 8 Interludes on Communion Psalms. This is the first of the set, Psalm 22 (which many of us know as Psalm 23 "The Lord is My Shepherd"
