Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott BuxWV 184

This is Buxtehude's Chorale Prelude on Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott BuxWV 184, another showcase of the FCCLA Schlicker Beta. I used 6th-comma meantone for this recording. The final division has been released to the Beta testers, so the entire Gallery organ is now loading!

I'm going to be posting some James Pressler's renditions over the next few days - and a special note applies:

Hauptwerk old-timers might remember James Pressler, an early adopter and enthusiast of HW. James was a professional organist, but lost the ability to play due to a stroke. He painstakingly crafted musical MIDI renditions and used HW as an outlet to continue playing. There are still quite a few of his creations uploaded here under the username JOCR.

James was a dear friend, and early member of my development team. Alas, he passed away in 2014.

Before he passed, he made me his musical executor of sorts - gave me access to his website and all of his MIDI files. Unfortunately, I didn't have access to the domain, only the host, so I was unable to continue the site once the domain expired. I did archive (download) the entire site before cancelling the hosting.

This is James' rendition. Rest in peace, old friend, your memory is a blessing.
