Description:
The Cinco Danzucas Populares (five popular dances) were composed in 1997 by the Spanish composer Miguel Perez (born 1976),

The first one, Danzuca mordida (could not find what it means) is characterized by cross-rythms (pedal in 6/8, left hand in ¾, right hand in…,),

The second one, Danzuca de las Hachas, has a strong Renaissance flavour spiced with some modern harmonies.

The third one, Danzuca de Amor, is a waltz (with a bar at 2/4 here and there !)

The fourth one, Danzuca Rustica, is not evidently a dance (some moments sound almost like Tournemire)

The fifth one, Danzuca Final, has strong rythms with a kind of Mauresque flavour in the second theme,
