Joseph Reveyron (1917-2006) was a student of Eduoard Commete and an organist of the Sanctuaire in Lyon. He wrote quite a number of organ compositions, many are not published. This piece is from a set of 2 Chorals that came from the Orgue et Liturgie series. I was surprised at how idiomatically the Rotterdam Marcussen sounds with the French repertoire - perhaps I will do a recording on the Metz just for comparison. At some point, I will do a MIDI rendition of 3 of his pieces I found at the LOC - still not published and rather hard to find!
